No registration needed and the set-up is very simple. The software will step you through an optimisation process on installation, and then you can start playing around with the sounds.
You will need a microphone installed, for obvious reasons, and the free version comes with three basic voice types: male, female and little people.
If you want more options you can download additional voice packs but you will need the pro edition which is not free after the trial period.
This software is simply a bit of fun - though it can be used in conjunction with any voice communication programme you use.
